                    Naomi Wilson
Co-Chair of Political Affairs of the Black Student Union

Naomi Mae Wilson is beyond ready for this year's Afrikan Black Coalition conference. This year she is the Co-Chair of Political Affairs for the Black Student Union at UC Berkeley, which is helping to put on ABC. Naomi has always been interested and passionate about activism especially in the Black community and became even more involved when she helped with the 2010 Blackout at UC Berkeley. She is inspired by Black men and women who defy what society has put as their "limit" and aspires to change the unjust educational system in the U.S.

Wilson is an Afrikan American Studies Major and hopes to pursue a Master's in Education Administration and a J.D. after undergraduate school. Through her post grad education she will continue to do work for the community that has raised her. Through this years ABC she hopes that it will soon be believed that Black people are the change to be seen and that not only does the Black community recognize the issues but also implements the solutions.
