Volunteer Coordinator Mario is a Sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley where he intends on majoring in Social Welfare with a minor in Public Policy. Mario is originally from Inglewood, California and was very involved in ways to reconstruct the negative stereotypes place on the community. Mario is very passionate about serving his community; specifically neighborhood that identify as under-represented or low-income, and eliminating the barriers in Education that prevent the individuals in the communities from succeeding. Outside of planning for ABC, Mario works as an Academic Service Assistant and a Residential Assistant where he helps the incoming class as they transition into the academic rigors of Berkeley. Mario is dedicated to giving his time to help people in whatever way possible. |
