Dovie Siaway
Performers & Keynote Coordinator Dovie Lyn Monet Siaway is going strong into her second year at the University of California, Berkeley and is this year’s Performance and Keynote Speaker Coordinator. Beginning in high school, Dovie began working behind the scenes planning events and entertainment for her class. Her senior year, as class president, it was her responsibility to get the commencement speaker for graduation as well as book the entertainment for all the events that took place at her school that year. Dovie is currently a member of Black Campus Ministries Gospel Choir and also an Intern for the Black Recruitment and Retention Center. She enjoys playing guitar, reading, writing, and singing, all of which she believes enhances her intellect.

She is pleased to be a part of the African Black Coalition 2011 Conference committee and is confident that her experience, class, and passion for excellence will allow her to coordinate great performances and speakers. |
